Weekend wrap up

IT'S JUNE!!

I'm pretty sure I've made it quite clear that I hate gardening BUT I do love a nice well taken care of garden.  We are having a bit of a problem with the landscaper.  He's shown up twice to mow the lawn but hasn't touched the flower beds once.  To say it's out of control and getting overgrown is an understatement.  Yesterday we broke down and bought some tools

I think Larry made at leasts 10 trips to the recycling center to drop off yard waste and the sad thing is that we didn't even make a dent in what needs to be done. I have come to hate English ivy and holly!! IF ONLY I HAD A CHAINSAW!!   The landscaper has until Wednesday before all Hell breaks loose!!  End of rant.  For now.

We ended the day at the Barton Beer Festival, now renamed by Larry as the Barton Warm Beer Festival.  I'm sure if I liked beer, I'd also want it cold.  What's with the English and their warm beer?!
