TGIF!!

I can't believe how fast this week went by!  We were super busy inside and outside the house!

I asked John the gardener to remove all the ivy off this  pillar.  "Can't be done, that's the only thing holding it up."  Well, as soon as he said, "can't be done" I was determined to get it off.

I did it all by myself!!

I left the top for him!

Weekend wrap up

It poured rain on Saturday but we were still able to get a lot accomplished.  Congrats to Larry for passing his driver's theory test in the morning!  Especially since he only started studying on Thursday night.  Next up is the driving test, sometime in the future.  Went to the butcher for our weekly meat supply. He pulled Larry close to ask him for "his Mum's meatloaf recipe".  Pretty funny but why didn't he want my recipe?!!

Sunday was P66 Bike Club ride day.  If was a beautiful day even though I got my booty seriously whipped!  After 44 hill-packed miles, I'm on painkillers!

Yard crashers episode 1:

He broke down and bought a "lawn mower".

John even showed up, here's before

And after

It's coming along!  But soooo much more is left!!

The British Army has arrived!!

Not quite thee army but it is John (18 years in the British Army, he never fails to bring up in every conversation) and Pete.  There are waaayyyy too many stories to post, let's leave it at they are VERY colorful lads!

John lost all of his electrical equipment  and lawnmower in last year's flood.  IF we buy a lawnmower and the petrol, he'll mow our grass as well.  Hmmmm... probably not going to happen.  If we buy a lawnmower, we'll mow it ourselves!

So far, the only bone found.  Hoping it's from a cow

I really hope we don't need more than one of these
