Weekend wrap up
Saturday we rode across the Humber Bridge. We lucked out as it is usually packed with walkers and other cyclists but the weather wasn't great so we had it to ourselves.
Can't wait until we don't have to wear our winter gear!!

Sunday lunch
Yesterday we drove to the village of Tealby for lunch. This is the village that we went through on a bike ride and I tried to get pictures of while on the bike but only got my face and Larry's back. We ate at The King's Head, the oldest thatched pub in Lincolnshire.
Must have been a road rally as the parking lot was swarming with old jalopies
Crank it up!

Road trip
Yesterday we headed north up the eastern coast. "Are you going to Scarborough Fair? Parsley, sage…." to check out Scarborough Castle
Scarborough is a very popular holiday destination because of it's beach
Next stop was Whitby to see the abbey
Whitby is one of the last east coast fishing villages
Lunch break in Thornton le Dale
Larry took me to The Buck Inn, where he said he'd had the BEST fish and chips ever. I agree!
Thatched cottage
One last castle
