Last week in Houston

On Saturday we had family day (minus Larry, who was missed greatly)

 Aston and Olivia had plans to make their gingerbread house

 Olivia helped for a bit

Then showed up for the finished product

I managed to get Jordan to help me put the net lights on the shrubs

He's not smiling because he's happy

He did a great job!

Our Thanksgiving

Obviously Thanksgiving is not celebrated in South Ferriby, although there is a connection to the Pilgrims.  Not far from us, a group set sail on their journey to America.  

We had planned a trip to Brussels but decided it just wasn't worth the stress of going there.  We knew it was unlikely anything would happen but we didn't want to be constantly on edge and the armed military presence wasn't something we wanted to deal with.
