Montana

Yesterday Lindsey and I flew to Montana

After landing in Great Falls, we hopped in the car for a 4 hour drive to Glasgow

This morning we needed some exercise

This is the airport hill - brings back nightmares of running it in high school

Looking out over the town

Do NOT drive your snowmobile to school!!

Passed by Larry's childhood home (1st?)

Week in Review

I'm back in Houston for a visit, yay!!

She loves her new ballerina outfit

And Peppa the Pig

These 2 cut their hair!!

Jordan (my trainer) and I are getting serious about our exercise.  On Saturday morning, we went to walk Heights Boulevard and walked right into the Heights Fun Run.

In the afternoon, we attended Free Press Summer Fest

We saw Sturgill Simpson and Band of Horses
Would have killed for an ice cream cone

Photobombed in the misting tent
Spies
This guy had the BEST job!  Let's just say it was hot, in the 90's

Why would you carry this around?!!  He wasn't the only one either!

Ended the night with some Tears for Fears
and lots of garbage

Sunday
Saw Future Islands, The Mountain Goats and The Decemberists
Back in the misting tent
Tried to find shade under a tree and got to watch balloons blown up
and finally Belle & Sebastian

A shower never felt soooo good!!

Paella Sunday

Back in October, when we were in Barcelona, we bought a paella pan, chorizo, rice and seasoning but never got around to making the dish.  Sunday was declared the day but first we had to find a recipe and luckily, Larry had ripped one out of his magazine and I actually knew where to find it.

Jordan helped with the chopping

Larry was in charge of the frying
 Just waiting to be finished
Perfect!  It was delicious!
