Weekend wrap up - Olivia comes to England

Doesn't really show how packed the car was (I'm sure I was in the middle of a VERY deep conversation here or maybe singing a new, popular song)

Just a small bit of our luggage

Made it through security and check-in, time to crawl on the seats

Strapped in
On our way to Amsterdam

Having fun with the activity book Mommy made

 Just chillin'

5 hours into the flight, seriously GO TO SLEEP!!

FINALLY!!

Amsterdam to Humberside
Oh yeah, Tyler and Aston came too

(Don't have any pictures of Olivia seeing Grandpa, was stuck in Border Control.  Guess they haven't seen suitcases with inside pockets before, even though I've been traveling with these suitcases for who knows how many years!  Thank God they didn't find the hot dogs!!)

Went to the playground to get acclimated to the time change

SUNDAY

She loves to be outside

Went to Elsham Hall

Wednesday lunch field trip

Tucked inside a Texaco gas station on Houston's eastside is a little gem, Mercedes Mexican Food.  It's a bit confusing since the only sign is for Chester's Chicken.  We weren't the only ones not sure if we were in the right spot.

That's Mercedes behind the steam table.  She prefers to make you up a freestyle combo plate that is absolutely delicious.  This isn't TexMex, it's homestyle Mexican.

The chips are housemade and the guacomole is to die for.

We'll be back!

Larry needed a haircut

Saturday we boarded the train for London

And then there was fire!

Next we got on a boat and headed to Greenwich

 Straddling The Line (prime meridian)

Setting our clocks to a tenth of a second

Chapel of St. Peter and St. Paul at the Old Royal Naval College

Took a stroll through the market before going back to London

Stopped at the Tower of London to check out the poppy installation

We ended the evening at the theater

Saturday's weather was gorgeous but Sunday found us
hanging out under a bodega's awning during a frog strangler

My green thumb?!

I'm growing grass!

And then there's this!  It looks to me like a few million wild roses

Progress updates will follow

Larry took me out for my upcoming birthday to my favorite restaurant

Sunday morning - back in the saddle

Can't wait to see her very soon!!
